Flaxseed oil

An excellent supplement for those who want to provide their dog with a natural source of nutrition. Our flaxseed oil is extracted through gentle cold pressing and provides a versatile fatty acid profile in the food bowl. It is just as suitable for raw feeding (BARF) as it is for dry or wet food.

Flaxseed oil is one of the best plant-based sources of the omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (approx. 56%). It also contains the omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid (16%) and oleic acid (17%). Dogs need to obtain polyunsaturated fatty acids through their diet, and fat is crucial both for energy and for the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. Our flaxseed oil is delivered in a protective tin bottle and is completely free from artificial additives.

Feeding recommendation per day:

• Dogs 30–40kg: 20ml daily
• Dogs 20–30kg: 15ml daily
• Dogs 10–20kg: 10ml daily
• Dogs up to 10kg: 5ml daily

Tip: One teaspoon corresponds to approximately 5ml and one tablespoon to approximately 15ml. Rotate the bottle gently in circular motions before use – vigorous shaking can lead to spills. If the dog is a picky eater, the oil can easily be mixed with a little water, unsalted broth, or stirred into their favorite treat.
